You can like strange trinkets
Like pink polka dots
On top of a green flamingo
Or you can fall in love
With the local stray dog
But see him marry the neighbourhood cat
You could bathe in buttons
Pulled from old vests
And moisturise with your own tears
You could dislike all cookies
And hate all things healthy
But still enjoy an apple or two
But within these four walls
These bright white walls
